A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN SPAIN
Since our debut in 2024, The Millars has quickly become one of the most anticipated events on the UCI Gran Fondo World Series calendar. After an outstanding second edition in 2025, welcoming 1,700 cyclists from numerous countries, we continue to grow as one of the key Gran Fondo gatherings in Spain.
The UCI Gran Fondo World Series brings together thousands of cyclists each season across more than 30 events worldwide, where riders compete to earn their qualification for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. The 2025 edition took place in Lorne (Australia) in mid-October.
AN SPECTACULAR ROUTE:
The Millars route preserves its essence: a breathtaking course crossing 28 municipalities in the province of Castellón, entering the impressive Serra d’Espadà Natural Park, and following the flow of the Mijares River —riu Millars in Valencian— which gives the event its name.
Across our first two editions, we have been honoured with the presence of world-class ambassadors such as Ivan Basso, Joaquim “Purito” Rodríguez, Ibon Zugasti (winner of his age category), and in 2025, Fabio Aru, all of whom have helped elevate The Millars to an even higher level.

En cumplimiento de la Ley 2/2015 de Transparencia, Buen Gobierno y Participación Ciudadana de la Comunidad Valenciana, la organización del evento hace saber que la Consellería de Educación, Cultura y Deporte colabora con el proyecto X Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola en la línea de ayudas nominativa S8244 del año 2022 con una aportación de 30.000 EUR.
En cumplimiento de la Ley 2/2015 de Transparencia, Buen Gobierno y Participación Ciudadana de la Comunidad Valenciana, la organización del evento hace saber que la Consellería de Turisme, dentro del programa de ayudas nº 2 “Impulso a eventos musicales, deportivos y culturales de impacto turístico”, en la resolución 2022/875, colabora con el proyecto X Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola con una aportación de 45.380,17€.
